Active ImageThe conditions were atrocious, the teams being mixed boys and girls. All pupils were from Year 6 and aged between 10 and 11 years old. This was a 5 a side competition with each team having a squad of 10 players to choose from, each squad had at least 2 girls at least 1 girl from each side had to be playing on the field at all times. Schools which included pupils, teachers and parents giving well over 325 heads attended and had a fabulous day. it was an action packed, competitive, exciting and fun filled , all the children had a fabulous time. They were jubilant in success and gracious in defeat. It was a pleasure seeing and meeting such a lovely bunch of children; they were impeccably behaved and were a credit to their parents and great representatives of their schools, the 4 schools going through to play at the echo arena are Holy Rosary Catholic Primary, Oriel Drive, Aintree, Liverpool, Merseyside, L10 6NJ, Emmaus CE & RC Primary, Fir Tree Drive South, Croxteth, Liverpool, Merseyside, L12 0JE, Federated schools of St Sebastian's and St Cuthbert', Catholic Primary School, Holly Road.
